Norwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - A goal in each half from Raheem Sterling helped Liverpool to a 3-2 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday, leaving the Reds five points clear at the top of the league.

Sterling and Luis Suarez scored in the opening 11 minutes to hand Liverpool a two-goal advantage before Norwich pulled a goal back through Gary Hooper in the 54th minute.

Liverpool restored its two-goal lead with another tally from Sterling in the 62nd, and the visitors held on for all three points after Robert Snodgrass scored to bring the Canaries back to within a goal 13 minutes from time.

The loss leaves Norwich just two points above the relegation zone with three matches to play.

Sterling got Liverpool off to a great start just four minutes into the contest when he took a pass 30 yards from goal and eluded a defender before lashing a shot into the corner of the net past Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy.

Seven minutes later, Sterling turned provider as his pass allowed Suarez to knock home his 30th goal of the league campaign, putting Liverpool into a comfortable position.

Hooper brought Norwich back to within a goal in the 54th when he scored following a failed punch from Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

But Sterling answered back eight minutes later when he intercepted a pass in midfield and dashed into the penalty area before beating Ruddy with a deflected shot.

Snodgrass scored on a header in the 77th to give Norwich some life, but Liverpool saw off the rest of the match to claim its 11th straight league win, setting up a huge showdown with Chelsea at Anfield next weekend.

Arsenal 3, Hull City 0

Hull, England - Arsenal maintained its one-point lead on Everton for fourth place on Sunday as Lukas Podolski scored a pair of goals in a 3-0 Gunners victory at Hull City.

Aaron Ramsey's 31st-minute opener came after some nice play from Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla to set up the Wales international, who beat goalkeeper Steve Harper with a low shot.

Hull almost equalized before the break when Jake Livermore's shot beat goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny but came back off the post.

And the Tigers found themselves down 2-0 at the break just a few minutes later when Ramsey chested a ball down for Podolski to fire past Harper.

That duo combined for Arsenal's third goal as well as Ramsey's shot was kept out by a fine stop from Harper, only for Podolski to score on the rebound.

Everton 2, Manchester United 0

Liverpool, England - David Moyes returned to Goodison Park for the first time as Manchester United manager, and he received a less than hospitable welcome as his former side Everton handed Moyes and his team a 2-0 defeat.

Leighton Baines handed the Toffees the lead with a 28th-minute penalty kick before Kevin Mirallas doubled the advantage shortly before halftime, keeping Everton within one point of fourth-place Arsenal.

The loss also officially eliminates Manchester United from Champions League contention, marking the first time in 19 years that United will miss out on Europe's premier club competition.

Everton won its penalty kick when a shot from Romelu Lukaku struck the arm of United defender Phil Jones inside the penalty area, allowing Baines to convert his spot kick with a shot down the middle of the net.

Mirallas then added to the lead with a well-timed run that saw him get behind the defense and into the area with a nice through ball from Seamus Coleman before he turned a first-time shot past goalkeeper David De Gea.
