Katowice, Poland (SportsNetwork.com) - Top-seeded heavy Polish favorite Agnieszka Radwanska was an easy quarterfinal victor Friday at the WTA's BNP Paribas Katowice Open.

The former Wimbledon runner-up took care of sixth-seeded Austrian Yvonne Meusburger 6-4, 6-1 on the indoor clay at Spodek.

The recent Indian Wells runner-up Radwanska's semifinal opponent on Saturday will be fourth-seeded Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, who outlasted fifth-seeded Czech Klara Koukalova 6-2, 0-6, 6-2 on Day 5.

The other quarterfinal results saw nifty third-seeded Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro erase seventh-seeded Slovak Magdalena Rybarikova 6-2, 6-3 and rising 22-year-old Italian Camila Giorgi dismiss Israeli veteran Shahar Peer 6-1, 6-4. Suarez Navarro and Giorgi will do battle in the other semi.

The 2014 Katowice champion will collect $43,000.
