Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Lexi Thompson took down Michelle Wie at the Kraft Nabisco on Sunday and Thompson improved three spots in this week's world rankings.
Thompson moved to No. 6 in the new rankings, while Wie soared 14 places to No. 24 this week.
Inbee Park remained the No. 1 player and was followed by Suzann Pettersen, Stacy Lewis, Lydia Ko and Karrie Webb.
Thompson's move pushed So Yeon Ryu, Shanshan Feng and Paula Creamer down one notch apiece as they rank seventh through ninth.
Anna Nordqvist held steady at No. 10, while Cristie Kerr improved one to 11th. Na Yeon Choi dipped a spot to 12th and Catriona Matthew and Lizette Salas were Nos. 13 and 14 again this week.
Amy Yang and I.K. Kim exchanged places with Yang up to No. 15. Angela Stanford inched up one to 17 and that bumped Ha Na Jang down one to 18. Azahara Munoz stayed put in 19th and was followed by Se Ri Pak, who jumped nine spots to 20th this week.
Hee Young Park, who was 20th last week, dropped two to 22nd in the new rankings.
