Rangers clinch playoff berth

(SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Rangers clinched a playoff berth in the upcoming NHL postseason due to New Jersey losing to Calgary on Monday.

Calgary's 1-0 defeat of New Jersey punched New York's ticket to the postseason for a fourth straight year.

New York currently sits second in the Metropolitan Division, two points ahead of Philadelphia. The Rangers have three games to play while the Flyers have four left.
