Michigan will host a Big Ten football game under the lights for the first time.

The Wolverines and Penn State announced Monday that the two teams will play at night on Oct. 11. Michigan has played two night football games at the Big House, in 2011 and last season — both against Notre Dame.

The Wolverines and Fighting Irish will meet in their last scheduled game on Sept. 6 at Notre Dame Stadium. Notre Dame opted out of its contract with Michigan, canceling games from 2015 through 2017.
