(SportsNetwork.com) - Sophomore guard Semaj Christon says he will forgo his final two years of eligibility at Xavier to enter the NBA Draft.

Christon told ESPN.com on Friday it's been his lifelong dream to play in the NBA and it was time to move on.

The 6-foot-3 guard led the Musketeers in scoring this season, averaging 17.0 points in 34 games to go along with 2.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

Xavier went 21-13 and lost to North Carolina State in a first-round NCAA Tournament game.

Also Friday, Xavier announced that freshman forward Kamall Richards would transfer.
