(SportsNetwork.com) - Sam Houston State has completed a 12-game football schedule for this season by adding a Sept. 13 home date against Colorado State University Pueblo, the Southland Conference university announced Wednesday.
CSU-Pueblo is the three-time defending Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champion.
It will be the first meeting between the two programs and gives Sam Houston State a fifth home game.
The Bearkats, who finished 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the Southland Conference last season, have a new head coach in K.C. Keeler, the former Delaware mentor.
The Bearkats are one of only three programs to qualify for the FCS playoffs in each of the last three seasons.
