Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Jennifer O'Neill scored 21 points to lead seven players in double figures, as the third-seeded Kentucky Wildcats routed the 14th-seeded Wright State Raiders 106-60 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Memorial Coliseum.

Janee Thompson had 14 points and Samarie Walker tallied 12 points and 14 rebounds for Kentucky (25-8), which awaits sixth-seed Syracuse in the next round. Also in double figures for the Wildcats were Linnae Harper (12 points), Bria Goss (11), DeNesha Stallworth (11) and Azia Bishop (10).

Ivory James netted 16 points to pace Wright State (26-9). Tay'ler Mingo chipped in 14 points, Kim Demmings had 12 and Tayler Stanton cleared 14 boards.

Kentucky had 21 field goals in the opening half on 45.7 percent from the floor. Meanwhile, Wright State had only eight field goals on 20 percent shooting, as it trailed 51-25 at the break.

The Wildcats did not let up in the second period, piling up 23 more field goals on 67.6 percent shooting, while the Raiders hit on a miserable 25.6 percent from the field.

Kentucky had a 67-40 advantage in rebounds and outscored Wright State 66-26 in the paint.
