Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears agreed to terms on a one-year contract with defensive lineman Israel Idonije.

Idonije played nine years with the Bears before moving to the Detroit Lions last season. In a reserve role, he recorded 11 tackles and a half-sack for Detroit in 2013.

The Bears also agreed to terms on one-year deals with safeties Danny McCray and Craig Steltz on Tuesday.

McCray comes to Chicago after spending his first four seasons in Dallas, where he racked up 104 tackles, seven passes defensed and two interceptions over 60 games and made 10 starts for the Cowboys during the 2012 campaign.

Steltz, who's spent his entire six-year career in Chicago, played in 16 games with one start last season. He recorded 14 tackles and one pass defensed while adding 14 special teams tackles.
