Marcel Mosley scored 22 points and Davon Hays added 16 as Arkansas-Pine Bluff pulled away from Grambling State for a 61-52 win on Saturday night.

UAPB (11-17, 9-7 Southwest Athletic Conference) limited the Tigers to just 21.7 percent shooting (5-of-23), including 20 percent from 3-point range (2-of-10), but led just 21-20 at the break. The Golden Lions failed to get to the free throw line while Grambling State made 8 of 12 from the stripe in the first half.

Tyron Bain hit 1 of 2 free throws to give the Tigers a one-point lead with 4:46 to play, but Pine Bluff used an 8-0 run to take a 48-41 lead it would never relinquish.

Mosley and Hays combined to score 25 of UAPB's 40 second-half points as Hays went 3 of 5 from the field and 8 of 11 from the free throw line after the break.
