Adriano signs for Paranaense

Curitiba, Brazil (SportsNetwork.com) - Former Brazil international Adriano has signed for Atletico Paranaense, it was announced Tuesday.

The 31-year-old has been on a two-year hiatus from professional football. The former Inter Milan striker, who last played for Corinthians in 2012, moved to Flamengo but failed to appear in any matches.

Adriano has made 48 appearances with the Brazilian national team, logging 27 goals.
