The Minnesota Vikings have hired Hank Fraley as an assistant offensive line coach.

The team announced the addition on Monday.

Fraley will be one of 18 assistants under new coach Mike Zimmer. He replaces Ryan Silverfield, who was not retained, and will work under Jeff Davidson, who returns as the lead offensive line coach.

This will be Fraley's third season of coaching, after spending one year at San Jose State University and one at the University of San Diego.

Fraley played 11 seasons in the NFL with Philadelphia, Cleveland and St. Louis. He was the starting center for the Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX.
