Queensland, Australia (SportsNetwork.com) - Cheyenne Woods carded a 2-under 71 on Saturday to maintain the lead at the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters.
Woods, who is seeking her first professional win, finished 54 holes at RACV Royal Pines Resort at 12-under-par 207.
"Today was not as easy as the past few days, but I think this was one of my better rounds," said Woods. "I really grinded it out today, and I told my caddy today was the day to grind it out. It was a little windier. The greens were firm, so I was really proud of my play today."
Second-round co-leader Stacy Lee Bregman managed a 1-under 72 during her third round to sit alone in second place at 11-under 208.
Minjee Lee (69) owns third at 10-under, while Camilla Lennarth (72) and Trish Johnson (73) are tied for fourth at minus-9.
Woods opened with a par at the first before finding some struggles with bogeys at the second, fourth and fifth around a birdie at the third.
She converted back-to-back birdie efforts at the eighth and ninth to make the turn at 10-under, but gave those shots right back with bogeys at the 10th and 12th.
Woods then caught fire down the stretch, closing her round with four birdies over her last five holes to claim a 1-stroke lead heading into the final round.
