Krasnaya Polyana, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) - Canadian sisters Justine and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe ended American Hannah Kearney's bid for Olympic history in women's moguls.
Justine Dufour-Lapointe, the youngest of three Canadian sisters who made the finals, won the gold medal on Saturday ahead of her sister. Kearney finished with bronze.
Kearney skied last in the third final. Four years ago at Cypress Mountain outside Vancouver, she also went last and overtook 2006 Olympic champion Jennifer Heil of Canada to win gold.
She was trying to become the first freestyle skier to repeat as Olympic champion but was a little loose during the same stretch in each of her final runs, after the first jump.
