Queensland, Australia (SportsNetwork.com) - Cheyenne Woods and Stacy Lee Bregman carded matching 6-under 67s Friday to share the lead at the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters.
The duo finished 36 holes at RACV Royal Pines Resort at 10-under-par 136.
Also on Friday, defending champion Karrie Webb was disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.
"It was bought to our attention that there was potentially a score that Karrie disputed," tournament director Fraser Munro said. "Unfortunately in this situation, she signed for what she thought was the correct score -- she had a 5 on the 12th hole on her scorecard but she actually had a 6. So she breached what we would call rule 6.6 b, signing for an incorrect score -- that was lower than the score that she had actually taken."
Woods opened her round with an eagle at the par-4 10th, holing out her second shot from 150 yards.
She added birdies at the 13th and 17th to make the turn at 8-under. She later followed back-to-back gains at the third and fourth with another birdie at the eighth to move to 11-under, but closed with a bogey at the ninth to end at minus-10.
Bregman also started on the back nine and recorded birdies at Nos. 10, 11, 14, 17, 6 and 9 during her bogey-free round.
Trish Johnson (66) is alone in second place at 9-under, while Camilla Lennarth (67) owns sole possession of fourth at 8-under.
First-round leader Jessica Korda carded an even-par 73 during her second round to drop into a share of 11th place at 5-under 141.
