Brandon Vega and Keon Moore came off the bench to combine for 25 points as Winthrop rolled to a 92-62 win over Barber-Scotia on Thursday.

Vega also had 9 assists in the game that was originally scheduled for Jan. 4.

Keon Johnson had 13 points for the Eagles (12-10), who raced to a 42-21 lead at the half. Reserve Jarad Scott pulled down 10 rebounds.

Carlos Benton Jr., had 16 points for the Sabres (0-24), who had 21 turnovers.

Winthrop shot 56.7% with Vega going 6-6 and Moore 4-6. The Eagles hit 11 of 24 3-points, topped by Johnson's three.

All 13 players scored for the Eagles, who reeled off 10 straight points after Barber-Scotia scored the first bucket of the game. The margin reached 20 in Scott sandwiched a pair of baskets around a Josh Davenport jumper that made it 33-13 4:27 before halftime.
