Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - PSG striker Edinson Cavani is facing a three-week injury absence after sustaining a thigh injury in his team's 2-0 defeat of Bordeaux on Friday.
Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alex handed PSG all three points and moved the club five points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
But the match also saw Cavani limp off 20 minutes from time with a thigh strain that is expected to keep him out of action for around three weeks.
Cavani has tallied 20 goals in all competitions for PSG this season, but the 26-year-old will miss key matches in the coming weeks against Nantes in the semifinal of the Coupe de la Ligue on Wednesday as well as a top-two clash with Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
