CARSON, Calif. – Midfielder Brad Davis is in the starting lineup for the U.S. national team in its exhibition match against South Korea.
U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann fielded a lineup missing several top American players for the first of two scheduled exhibitions before the World Cup.
Davis, the Houston Dynamo star, got the start in midfield alongside Landon Donovan, Graham Zusi, Mix Diskerud and Kyle Beckerman.
Chris Wondolowski was the lone forward in the U.S. lineup for Saturday's game.
Michael Parkhurst joined the starting U.S. lineup on defense. Parkhurst wasn't in Brazil last month for the Americans' 2½-week training camp in their World Cup facilities.
