Kilmarnock, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Kris Boyd scored twice in the second half to help Kilmarnock overcome a two-goal halftime deficit to claim a 2-2 draw with Ross County at Rugby Park.
Goals from Yoann Arquin and Yann Songo'o six minutes apart appeared to have Ross County on its way to three points.
But Boyd struck in the 48th minute to reduce the deficit and then netted the equalizer in stoppage time to keep Kilmarnock four points clear of County.
The visitors started well and took the lead on the half-hour mark with Arquin getting on the other end of a low cross from Filip Kliss to redirect the ball past goalkeeper Craig Samson.
County's lead swelled to 2-0 six minutes later when a volley from Graham Carey was struck into a crowded penalty area, where Songo'o provided the final touch.
Boyd gave the home side some hope in the 48th minute when he pounced on a corner kick from Sammy Clingan to lift the ball high into the net from close range.
Rory McKenzie's shot struck the post as Killie pressed for an equalizer, and Boyd finally found it in the closing minutes after Kliss was sent off for County.
A cross from Chris Johnston was played toward Boyd 12 yards from goal and he was able to hold off his defender and nod the ball beyond the reach of goalkeeper Michael Fraser.
Saturday's other contest saw Partick Thistle secure a point in a 1-1 draw with Dundee United as Partick's Gary Fraser scored 15 minutes from time to cancel out a first-half opener from United's Farid El Allagui.
