Virginia adds Jerome Oliver as new D-Line coach, reunites with DC Jon Tenuta

Virginia coach Mike London has hired Jerome Oliver as his new defensive line coach.

London made the announcement Monday. Oliver replaces Vincent Brown, who resigned to become the linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator at Connecticut.

Oliver has 35 years of college coaching experience with stops at Air Force, Buffalo, Navy, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. He's spent the past four seasons as the assistant head coach and defensive line coach at Buffalo. The Bulls played in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in 2013, just their second bowl appearance in program history.

At Virginia, Oliver will be reunited with Cavaliers defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta. They coached together at Notre Dame in 2008.

London says Oliver's record of success and history with Tenuta make him a great fit at Virginia.
