Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - With star point guard Chris Paul sidelined with a shoulder injury, the Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Maalik Wayns to a 10-day contract Wednesday.

Wayns, who was waived by Los Angeles on Jan. 6, has not appeared in a game this season, missing the first 33 contests of the season due to a torn left meniscus.

The 22-year-old Villanova product averaged 2.8 points and 1.0 assists over 27 games during his rookie campaign last season. He played 21 tilts with his hometown Philadelphia 76ers before finishing the season with the Clippers.
