(SportsNetwork.com) - Anaheim Ducks forward Teemu Selanne will appear in his sixth Olympic Games, as he was named to Finland's Olympic hockey team on Tuesday.
Selanne is joined by NHL forwards Aleksander Barkov (Florida) Valtteri Filppula (Tampa Bay), Mikael Granlund (Minnesota), Jussi Jokinen (Pittsburgh), Olli Jokinen (Winnipeg), Mikko Koivu (Minnesota), Lauri Korpikoski (Phoenix) and Tuomo Ruutu (Carolina).
Current NHL defenders on the Finland roster are Olli Maatta (Pittsburgh), Sami Salo (Tampa Bay) and Sami Vatanen (Anaheim).
Finland's roster is loaded with NHL talent, as Kari Lehtonen (Dallas), Antti Niemi (San Jose) and Tuukka Rask (Boston) are all on the roster.
Anahiem forward Saku Koivu reportedly turned down the opportunity to play with Finland.
Rounding out Finland's roster are defensemen Lasse Kukkonen, Karpat Oulu, Juuso Hietanen, Torpedo Nizhni Novgorod, Sami Lepisto, Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, Ossi Vaananen and Jokerit Helsinki; and forwards Juhamatti Aaltonen, Karpat Oulu, Leo Komarov, Petri Kontiola, Traktor Chelyabinsk,Jori Lehtera, Sibir Novosibirsk, Antti Pihlstrom and Salavat Yulayev Ufa.
