Jeremy Crutcher made six of his seven 3-point attempts and led Alabama A&M with 20 points in a Monday night victory over Grambling State 70-58.

Green Hill and Justin Colvin made 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to put the Bulldogs ahead 63-53 with 1:11 to play.

Hill had 10 points and Jose Long added 11 points and nine rebounds for A&M (5-7, 2-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference).

The Bulldogs led 28-26 at halftime and never trailed afterward, but Colvin's missed 3-pointer with less than 3 minutes to play gave Grambling State the ball down only 57-53. Colvin stole the ball back and scored to give the Bulldogs a 57-51 lead.

Grambling State built a six-point first-half lead and led most of the period. A'Torri Shine had 22 points to lead the Tigers (1-10, 0-2) which extended their losing streak in the SWAC to 20 games.
