San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Knicks will have leading scorer Carmelo Anthony back on the court when the team continues its current road trip with Thursday's matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.

Anthony, whose 26.3 points per game ranks third in the NBA this season, sat out New York's last three contests due to a sprained left ankle. The Knicks lost all three of those tilts and averaged just 92.3 points in those setbacks.

The All-Star forward has been able to practice fully since New York's most recent game, which took place Saturday at Toronto, and the team confirmed following Thursday's shootaround that Anthony will be in the lineup.

Anthony has averaged 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists as well over 27 games this season.
