New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount, New York Jets cornerback Dee Milliner and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri were selected as the AFC's top players for Week 17 of the NFL season.

Blount rushed for a career-high 189 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Patriots to a 34-20 win over Buffalo to secure the AFC East title and the second overall seed in the AFC Playoffs. Blount also carved up the Bills special teams unit for 145 return yards. His 334 total yards is a Patriots record.

Milliner recorded four tackles, two interceptions and five passes defensed in the Jets' 20-7 win over the Miami Dolphins. The rookie finished with three interceptions in the month of December, tied for the highest total in the AFC for the month.
