Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals have agreed to terms with catcher Chris Snyder on a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Snyder played in just nine games for the Orioles in 2013. He spent most of the season at Triple-A Norfolk where he hit .243 with six home runs and 24 RBI in 52 games.
The 32-year-old Snyder is a career .224 hitter with 77 homers and 298 RBI in 715 games with the Diamondbacks, Pirates, Astros and Orioles.
