East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz underwent a procedure on his left knee on Thursday and is likely done for the season.

Dr. James Andrews performed an arthroscopic debridement of the star receiver's left knee on Thursday in Florida. Cruz was subsequently ruled out for Sunday's game against Detroit.

Cruz suffered both a sprained knee and a concussion in the third quarter of Sunday's 23-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The 27-year-old wideout was cleared of the concussion on Wednesday.

He has appeared in 14 games for the Giants this season, leading them in catches (73) and receiving yards (998) with four touchdowns.
