Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took part in individual drills during Wednesday's practice, though the former NFL MVP's timetable for a return from a fractured left collarbone continues to be undetermined.
Matt Flynn continued to work with the starting unit during Wednesday's session, making it likely he will draw a fourth consecutive start in Rodgers' place for the Packers' key Week 16 clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
"He's still not been cleared by the medical staff," Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said of Rodgers. "He threw the ball extremely well. He looked sharp. He's getting better."
McCarthy said Rodgers' status for this weekend's contest will officially be decided on Friday.
Flynn has led Green Bay to back-to-back victories, including last Sunday's 37-36 triumph in Dallas in which the Packers overcame a 23-point halftime deficit. Over those two starts, he has completed 50-of-71 throws (70.4 percent) for 557 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions.
The journeyman backup had four touchdown passes -- all of which came in the second half -- in last week's comeback against the Cowboys.
Rodgers has not played since sustaining his injury on the opening drive of Green Bay's eventual 27-20 loss to rival Chicago on Nov. 4. The Packers proceeded to go 0-3-1 over the next four weeks with their star signal-caller on the shelf, before to turning things around the past two games.
The Packers enter the regular season's final two weeks just a half-game back of Chicago for first place in the NFC North, with the teams to square off in the Windy City during Week 17.
