Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins announced Tuesday that the club has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with first baseman Garrett Jones.

Jones helped the Pittsburgh Pirates clinch a playoff berth last season by collecting 15 home runs, 26 doubles and 51 RBI with a .233 batting average in 144 games.

The 32-year-old is a lifetime .254 hitter who has slugged 102 homers, 141 doubles and drove in 330 runs over 708 games in six major-league seasons with the Twins and Bucs.
