(SportsNetwork.com) - One of the Milwaukee Bucks' two wins this season came against the Boston Celtics on Nov. 1.
Mired in an 11-game losing streak, the Bucks will try to solve the Celtics once again when the two teams collide Saturday at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks lost their 11th game in a row with Friday's 92-76 decision at Charlotte and were led by Brandon Knight's 17 points. Gary Neal and Ekpe Udoh scored 10 points apiece off the bench for Milwaukee, which shot just 33.3 percent and made only 5-of-17 3-pointers.
It didn't help Milwaukee that Caron Butler sat out with a swollen right knee and Ersan Ilyasova missed the second half with a hamstring injury.
"With no Caron (Butler) and no Ersan (Ilyasova), we were forced to go smaller," Bucks coach Larry Drew said. "The big lineup didn't have much of an effect."
Milwaukee is riding its longest losing streak since dropping 15 in a row from March 4-30, 1996 and will try to halt a five-game home losing streak. The last time the Bucks won was a 109-104 defeat of Cleveland at home on Nov. 6. They are 1-6 in Brew City this season.
Boston has won three of four games since a six-game slide and recorded a 103-86 win over the Cavaliers on Friday night.
The Celtics stormed out to a 28-10 lead after the first quarter and maintained their lead from there. Jeff Green highlighted the night with 31 points on 10- of-19 shooting and Avery Bradley scored 21 points. Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger both had 12 points and Jordan Crawford chipped in a triple-double of 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Sullinger made four of Boston's 11 3-pointers (11-of-23).
"I heard (coach) Brad (Stevens) talking about how I don't take enough of them, so he kind of emphasized me shooting them more," Sullinger said of shooting from downtown. "It's definitely something I have worked on this summer a lot, I've been shooting them every day."
Green was glad to see the contributions from the whole team.
"It was nice to put everything together," Green said. "We have had our ups and downs throughout the season. We have had quarters where we play well and quarters that we didn't, but it was good to put an all-around good game together."
Boston made 50 percent from the floor and will now try to extend its road winning streak to three games. The Celtics are 4-6 on the road.
The Celtics played without guard Courtney Lee (knee) on Friday and are still without star guard Rajon Rondo (ACL surgery) and rookie center Kelly Olynyk (ankle).
Boston suffered a 105-98 loss at home to Milwaukee earlier this month, but is still 7-4 in the past 11 matchups in this series. The Celtics have won seven of the past 10 visits to the Bradley Center.
