Jesse Blackburn caught nine passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns, the last one in overtime to secure a 34-27 victory for Murray State over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. It was the first time the Racers have beaten Eastern Kentucky in eight tries.

Mackhail Miller completed 14 of 28 passes for 467 yards with two TDs for Murray State (6-6, 4-4 Ohio Valley). Miller also rushed for a team-high 28 yards and two more TDs in a game that saw four lead changes and a tie.

Thomas Owens rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns for the Colonels (6-6, 4-4). His second TD came on a run from the 1 to force a 27-27 tie with 46 seconds left in regulation.
