The Brooklyn Nets have scratched Deron Williams, Andrei Kirilenko, Brook Lopez and Jason Terry for Friday night's game against Minnesota.
This has been a season so far of injuries and losses for the Nets, who began the year with big expectations but are 3-8. Coach Jason Kidd says injuries are part of the game and the team must stay together during this tough stretch.
Williams re-injured his left ankle against Charlotte on Wednesday night. Kirilenko is still dealing with back spasms that have kept him out for seven games now. Lopez is working his way back from a sprained left ankle that has kept him out of four games and Terry is being held out as a precaution because of a bruised left knee.
