Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Carolina Hurricanes recalled forward Elias Lindholm on Friday.
The 18-year-old Lindholm, the fifth overall pick in this past NHL Draft, began the season with the Hurricanes despite missing most of training camp with a shoulder injury, recording a goal and an assist in 10 games.
In order for him to build some more confidence, Lindholm was then assigned to Carolina's American Hockey League affiliate in Charlotte, where the Swedish native had one goal and two assist in six games.
To make room on the roster, the Hurricanes reassigned forward Chris Terry to Charlotte.
