Ian Miller scored 13 of his 20 points in the first half, finishing 5 of 5 from the floor and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line, as Florida State defeated Tennessee-Martin 89-61 Sunday.

Tennessee Martin led 12-11 with 11:31 to halftime. But Miller put Florida State ahead with a layup at 11:07 and the Seminoles (3-0) finished the second half on a 30-9 run to pull ahead 41-23 at the half. Aaron Thomas scored 19 points and Okaro White added 17 points.

Myles Taylor scored 17 points and Javier Martinez had 13 points on 6 of 7 shooting for the Skyhawks (1-4), which had 19 turnovers and nine assists.

Coach Leonard Hamilton notched his 400th career win - and 200th at Florida State - in a victory over his alma mater.
