Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Victor Dubuisson held off several competitors to win the Turkish Airlines Open on Sunday, an accomplishment that vaulted him into the top 40 in this week's world golf rankings.
Dubuisson birdied three of his last four holes to claim his first career win on the European Tour and jump 69 places in the rankings to 39th.
The top of the rankings ahead of Dubuisson remained largely unchanged as Tiger Woods maintained the top spot ahead of Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson, Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose.
Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker and Jason Dufner also held their respective positions from sixth through 10th. Graeme McDowell, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson and Jim Furyk stayed put from 11th to 14th.
The only changes in the top 20 occurred with Ian Poulter moving up two spots to 15th, causing Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald to each drop a place to 16th and 17th.
Sergio Garcia, Webb Simpson and Jason Day again rounded out the top 20.
Chris Kirk secured his second career PGA Tour victory at the McGladrey Classic on Sunday to jump 38 places in the rankings to 56th.
