(SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Reds and catcher Brayan Pena have reportedly agreed to terms on a two-year contract, according to MLB.com.

The deal is pending a physical.

Pena, 31, batted .297 with four homers and 22 RBI over 71 games for the Detroit Tigers last season.

Primarily a backup at his position, Pena has hit .258 with 18 homers and 120 RBI since breaking into the majors with Atlanta in 2005. He played for the Braves through the 2008 season before spending the next four years with Kansas City.
