Feyenoord tops Cambuur to move into top four

Leeuwarden, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Feyenoord moved into the top four in the Eredivisie table on Sunday with a 2-0 triumph at Cambuur.

Lex Immers put Feyenoord in front in first-half stoppage time and Mitchell Te Vrede doubled the advantage in the 73rd, handing Feyenoord a fourth win in six games to move the club to within two points of leaders AZ Alkmaar.

Cambuur has lost four of its last five games to remain on 12 points from 12 matches.

Roda and Groningen played to a 3-3 draw in a battle of mid-table sides that saw Mark Jan Fledderus score a pair of penalty kicks for Roda to help his side claim a point.

Andraz Kirm put Groningen up 2-1 in the 53rd minute after the two sides traded first-half goals, but Fledderus converted a penalty kick nine minutes later to level the match.

Eric Botteghin's 75th-minute goal had Groningen back on top, however Fledderus scored another spot kick in stoppage time to force a share of the spoils.

Utrecht claimed a 2-0 win over Heerenveen in Sunday's other match to move further away from the relegation struggle as Jens Toornstra scored in the first half for Utrecht and Jacob Mulenga added a second nine minutes after the break.
