Army linebacker Julian Holloway was carted off the field with his right leg in a splint after being hurt on Air Force tailback Anthony LaCoste's long run late in the second quarter.

Holloway was trying to make a tackle on LaCoste's 43-yard run Saturday. Trainers quickly ran onto the field to check on the junior linebacker as he lay on the turf. Soon after, a cart was summoned to take him through the tunnel leading to the locker room.

While Holloway was down, Army coach Rich Ellerson walked onto the field to check on him. Air Force coach Troy Calhoun came over, too, patting Holloway in a show of support.

Holloway had one tackle in the game before leaving.
