Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins suffered a right knee injury during Thursday's game against Miami.
Atkins left the field in the second quarter of Cincinnati's 22-20 overtime loss and was carted to the locker room. Initial reports indicate a possible torn ACL.
Further tests are expected Friday.
Atkins has six sacks and 20 tackles in nine games this season. He led all interior linemen last season with 12 1/2 sacks and was selected to his second Pro Bowl.
The 25-year-old Georgia product has 29 sacks in 57 games over four NFL seasons.
