Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Mavericks said Tuesday they have requested waivers on Fab Melo, Renaldo Balkman, Devin Ebanks and D.J. Kennedy.

Melo, the 7-footer from Syracuse, played six games for the Boston Celtics last season before he was acquired and then released by the Memphis Grizzlies in August.

Balkman has played six seasons for the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets, Kennedy spent 93 games in the NBA Development League last season and Ebanks played 63 games for the Los Angeles Lakers over the past three seasons.
