Jets rookie defenseman Jacob Trouba is going on the injured list, and defenseman is coming up from the AHL to replace him on the roster.

The moves were announced on Saturday.

The 19-year-old Trouba was injured Friday in Winnipeg's 4-3 shootout victory over St. Louis when he crashed into the boards when he missed a hit on Blues defenseman Jordan Leopold.

As he was wheeled off on a stretcher, Trouba, who has a goal and assist in eight games this season, waved as fans shouted his name.

The 29-year-old Pardy has played in three games with St. John's of the AHL. He has played in 200 NHL games with Calgary, Dallas, and Buffalo over eight seasons. Pardy has notched four goals, 29 assists and 171 penalty minutes.
