Browns punt returner Travis Benjamin's teammates nicknamed him "Rabbit" after hearing stories about him chasing and catching rabbits as a kid.
Benjamin, a blur with the football in his hands, was named AFC special teams player of the week after he returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown and set a Cleveland record with 179 return yards in a win over Buffalo.
In his second year out of Miami, Benjamin is developing into one of the NFL's top return specialists.
He honed his dashing and darting skills while growing up in Belle Glade, Fla., where Benjamin and other kids would catch rabbits fleeing from the burning sugar cane fields. Benjamin said he once caught 20 in one day and would sometimes eat the critters, which "kind of taste like pork chops to me."
