New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock and Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby have been named the NFC's top performers for the fifth week of the 2013 season.
Jackson secured his third career Offensive Player of the Week Award after racking up seven catches for 132 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia's 36-21 win over the New York Giants on Sunday.
Brock took home Defensive Player of the Week honors thanks to a pair of interceptions, including an 18-yard touchdown return to open the scoring in San Francisco's 34-3 win over Houston.
Crosby connected on all five of his field goal attempts and added an extra point in Green Bay's 22-9 win over Detroit.
Crosby's five field goals tied a single-game franchise record while helping the Packers' place kicker corral his fifth career Special Teams Player of the Week Award, tying him with Ryan Longwell for the most in franchise history.
Others considered for the offensive award included St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford, New Orleans teammates Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham, Chicago wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and Dallas quarterback Tony Romo.
Defensive consideration went to Arizona defensive end Calais Campbell, Dallas cornerback Morris Claiborne, St. Louis safety Matt Giordano, Philadelphia linebacker Mychal Kendricks and Green Bay teammates Mike Neal and Nick Perry.
Arizona kicker Jay Feely and Philadelphia kicker Alex Henery were nominated for the special teams award.
