Marseille, France (SportsNetwork.com) - PSG avoided a tough loss at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday, coming from behind with 10 men to get a 2-1 victory over Marseille.

The visitors were behind the eight-ball from the beginning as Thiago Motta was sent off in the 31st minute.

Things went from bad to worse when Andre Ayew converted a penalty kick in the 34th minute, but Maxwell managed to equalize for PSG just before the halftime interval.

The two sides remained level until the 66th minute when Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a penalty of his own, completing PSG's comeback to bring the club back on equal terms with Monaco at the top of the Ligue 1 table on 21 points apiece.

Marseille drops to fourth place in the French top flight with 17 points.

Also on Sunday, Victor Hugo Montano and Remy Cabella both recorded braces as Montpellier stomped Lyon in a 5-1 win at the Stade de la Mosson while Cheick Diabate scored twice in Bordeaux's 4-1 defeat of Sochaux.
