Eric Thomas' 20-yard TD catch with :07 left gives Troy a 34-33 win over South Alabama

Eric Thomas caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Corey Robinson with seven seconds left in the game to lift Troy to a 34-33 victory over South Alabama on Saturday.

Thomas, who had five catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns, became the Sun Belt Conference all-time leader in touchdown receptions (26).

South Alabama (2-3, 1-1 Sun Belt) took a 33-27 lead when Jereme Jones scored on a 65-yard catch and run to cap a 99-yard scoring drive with 48 seconds remaining.

Corey Robinson completed 20 of 26 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner to Thomas. Deon Anthony added 95 yards passing and two touchdowns for Troy (3-3, 1-1).

Ross Metheny and Brandon Bridge combined for 471 yards, on 24-of-41 passing, and two touchdowns. They also led South Alabama in rushing with 55 and 54 yards, respectively.
