A brief look at the second session Friday of the Presidents Cup at Muirfield Village Golf Club:

PARTIAL SCORE: United States 4½, International 3½.

INCOMPLETE SCORE: The Americans had 3-up leads in two matches that didn't finish. The Internationals were 4 up in one match, 1 up in another.

MOTHER NATURE: Rain halted play for nearly three hours, allowing for only two of the six foursomes matches to be completed.

SHOT OF THE DAY: Branden Grace hit out of a deep bunker to inside a foot on the 13th to win the hole.

ROUND OF THE DAY: Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley shot 30 on the front nine and finished with six birdies in an eagle in foursomes.

MATCH OF THE DAY: Tiger Woods and Matt Kuchar were 6 under through eight holes and still only had a 1-up lead over Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen at that point. The Americans were 3-up through 12 when the round was stopped by darkness.

KEY STATISTIC: There were 50 birdies and two eagles over 80 holes of golf played Friday — in alternate shot.

NOTEWORTHY: The Internationals have lost seven sessions of foursomes.
