Left tackle Torian White will miss the rest of No. 12 UCLA's season because of a badly injured right ankle, coach Jim Mora says.
Bruins tailback Jordon James also is doubtful for next week's home game with his own ankle injury, Mora said Friday night.
White was hurt in the second quarter of the Bruins' 34-27 victory Thursday at Utah. Mora says White has a broken bone near his ankle and a slight ligament tear. He'll have surgery next week.
White started all 14 games at left tackle as a freshman last season. Mora hasn't decided how UCLA (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) will replace him next week.
X-rays on James' ankle were negative, but he's in a walking boot. James is UCLA's leading rusher with 463 yards and five TDs.
