Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw is definitely out for Sunday's upcoming contest with the Seattle Seahawks, and is reportedly considering season-ending surgery for his injured neck.
According to multiple sources, Bradshaw is seeking medical opinions for the correct course of action. Bradshaw suffered the injury in Week 3 against the 49ers, but played through the pain to collect a game-high 95 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
However, he hasn't practiced since and missed last week's contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bradshaw, who also dealt with a neck issue last season while with the New York Giants, should know in the coming days whether or not he needs surgery.
Indianapolis is hoping the injury will heal itself, as it has already lost second-year running back Vick Ballard for the season to a torn ACL in his knee. The Colts acquired Trent Richardson two weeks ago in a blockbuster deal with the Cleveland Browns, but he is still becoming acclimated with the offense.
Others will miss Sunday's tilt with the Seahawks as well, including safety LaRon Landry, who will sit a third straight game because of a nagging ankle injury. Running back Stanley Havili (ankle), defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois (groin) and linebacker Bjoern Werner (foot) are also out.
