Milwaukee Bucks forward Caron Butler is happy to be home.

Two offseason trades shipped him from the Clippers back to the Midwest, and not far from his hometown of Racine, which is about a 30-mile drive from Milwaukee.

Butler couldn't stop smiling at practice this week. New coach Larry Drew hopes Butler will contribute on the court as well as add a veteran presence in the locker room. The Bucks overhauled their roster this season, bringing back only four players from last year.

Butler is one of the new guys, even though he's very familiar with Milwaukee itself. A starter for the Clippers the last two years, Butler has averaged 15.5 points in a career that also includes stops with the Heat, Lakers, Wizards and Mavericks.
