San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal with linebacker Jermaine Cunningham.
Cunningham, 25, was a second-round selection of the Patriots in 2010. He played in 36 games, starting 14, recording 67 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Cunningham was released by New England prior to the start of the 2013 regular season.
The Niners have also waived quarterback B.J. Daniels and fullback Owen Marecic.
